1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small data files that websites can place or access on your computer, smartphone, tablet or other device when you visit a website.
Cookies can perform a variety of functions.
For example, they can help a website:
- operate correctly;
- maintain security;
- remember visitor choices;
- understand how visitors navigate the website;
- measure website performance; and
- improve the user experience.
Similar technologies may perform comparable functions and are covered by this Cookie Policy where relevant.
This Cookie Policy should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.
2. How Everon Uses Cookies
Everon may use cookies and similar technologies to:
- enable essential website functionality;
- protect website security;
- operate website forms;
- remember cookie preferences;
- improve website performance;
- understand how visitors use the website;
- identify technical problems;
- improve content and navigation; and
- where specifically implemented and consented to, measure marketing effectiveness.
We will not use optional cookies requiring consent unless the appropriate consent has been obtained.
3. Categories of Cookies
Cookies used by our website may fall into the following categories.
Strictly Necessary Cookies
Status: Currently used
These cookies are necessary for the website to operate properly or to provide functionality specifically requested by the visitor.
They may be used for purposes including:
- website security;
- form functionality;
- session management;
- network management;
- remembering cookie consent choices; and
- maintaining essential website functionality.
Strictly necessary cookies do not normally require visitor consent because they are required to provide the website or service requested.
Blocking essential cookies through a browser may affect how the website operates.
Analytics and Performance Cookies
Status: Not currently used
Analytics cookies help us understand how visitors interact with the website.
They may provide information including:
- which pages are visited;
- how visitors navigate between pages;
- how long visitors spend on particular pages;
- what devices or browsers visitors use;
- whether website errors occur; and
- how effectively the website performs.
Where consent is required, analytics cookies will not be activated unless the visitor has accepted them.
Functional Cookies
Status: Not currently used
Functional cookies may enable additional website features or allow the site to remember choices made by a visitor.
These could include preferences relating to:
- display;
- functionality;
- language; or
- other website settings.
Where these cookies are not strictly necessary, they will be subject to the appropriate visitor choice.
Marketing Cookies
Status: Not currently used
Marketing cookies may be used to measure advertising campaigns or provide advertising based on visitor activity.
Everon will only use marketing or advertising cookies if such functionality is actually implemented on the website.
Where consent is required, marketing cookies will not be set until the visitor has actively accepted them.
Everon does not currently use any marketing cookies, and this category is shown within Cookie Settings as Not currently used.

The table below reflects the technologies currently used on everonservices.co.uk.

|---|---|---|---|---|
__cf_bm | Cloudflare | Helps protect the website from automated traffic and malicious activity. | Strictly Necessary | 30 minutes |

Current cookie status
At present, Everon uses only cookies or similar technologies that are necessary to operate and protect the website. If optional analytics, functionality or marketing technologies are introduced in the future, this policy and Cookie Settings will be updated accordingly.
The website also loads its approved typefaces from Google Fonts. This involves a request to Google's font servers, but the service did not set a cookie or create local or session storage during our technical audit. The project enquiry form is processed securely by Everon's website services and does not create optional browser storage. No analytics tools, marketing pixels, maps, videos or other embedded services currently create optional storage on this website.
5. Cookie Consent
Where our website uses cookies or similar technologies that require consent, visitors will be given a choice before those technologies are activated.
If optional technologies are introduced, our cookie banner will allow visitors to select:
Accept All · Reject Optional · Manage Cookies
Optional cookies are not activated before the visitor has made the appropriate choice.
Simply:
- visiting the website;
- continuing to browse;
- scrolling;
- closing the banner; or
- ignoring the banner
is not treated as consent to optional cookies.
6. Managing Your Cookie Preferences
Visitors can change their cookie preferences at any time.
A permanent Cookie Settings link appears in the footer of every page, and selecting it opens the cookie preference centre.
The preference centre allows visitors to see and control the following categories:
| Category | Current status |
|---|---|
| Strictly Necessary | Always Active |
| Analytics & Performance | Not currently used |
| Functional | Not currently used |
| Marketing | Not currently used |
There are currently no optional cookie preferences to manage. If optional technologies are introduced, the preference centre will provide clear controls and choices will be confirmed before those technologies are activated.
7. Withdrawing Consent
Where a visitor has previously consented to optional cookies, they can change or withdraw that consent.
They can do this using Cookie Settings here or the Cookie Settings link in the website footer.
Changing preferences should prevent future use of the relevant optional cookies.
Where technically possible and appropriate, cookies previously placed by the website should also be removed when consent is withdrawn.
8. Third-Party Cookies and Services
Some website functionality may be provided by third-party organisations.
Depending upon the services used by the website, third parties may place cookies or use similar technologies.
Examples could include:
- analytics platforms;
- video hosting services;
- mapping services;
- form providers;
- website infrastructure providers; or
- other embedded services.
Where third-party cookies or similar technologies are used, we will identify the relevant provider and explain their purpose within this policy or our Cookie Settings.
Everon does not currently use any third-party cookies requiring consent.
Where a third-party service requires optional cookies, it should not load those optional cookies until the appropriate visitor consent has been obtained.
9. Session and Persistent Cookies
Cookies may be either session cookies or persistent cookies.
Session Cookies
Session cookies generally remain available only during a browsing session and are normally removed when the browser is closed.
Persistent Cookies
Persistent cookies remain on a device for a defined period or until removed by the visitor.
The duration of each cookie or similar technology currently used by Everon is shown in the Cookies Used on This Website section above.
10. Browser Cookie Controls
Most web browsers allow visitors to control cookies through browser settings.
Depending upon the browser, users may be able to:
- view cookies;
- delete cookies;
- block particular cookies;
- block third-party cookies;
- block all cookies;
- clear cookies when closing the browser; or
- use private browsing modes.
Blocking all cookies may prevent some website features from operating correctly.
Browser controls operate separately from Everon's own Cookie Settings tool.
11. Changes to This Cookie Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy when:
- website functionality changes;
- cookies or similar technologies change;
- new service providers are introduced;
- analytics or marketing technologies are introduced;
- our business practices change; or
- legal or regulatory requirements change.
The most recent version will always be available on our website.
The "Last updated" date will be changed where appropriate.
